The first week of horse camp was full of excitement and new experiences for our campers! Throughout the week, campers learned basic riding skills such as mounting, dismounting, and steering their horses. Each day, campers had the opportunity to practice their riding skills and enjoyed the beauty of nature. They also participated in fun activities such as horse grooming, feeding, horse anatomy, and parts of their tack. On the last day of camp we celebrated with a slip-n-slide and popsicles! Overall, the first week of horse camp was a great success and set the stage for an exciting and memorable summer ahead!
